The Snowbirds are a Canadian icon comprised of serving members of the Canadian Forces which work as a team to bring thrilling performances to the North American public. The Canadian Navy’s Pacific Fleet marked the Canadian Navy Centennial with the IFR June 9th to 14th, 2010. The main event of the IFR was the fleet review, where the visiting and Canadian naval vessels were reviewed by the guest of honour, Governor General Michaëlle Jean. The IFR was the largest gathering of ships and naval personnel that Victoria has seen in over 50 years. |
