Canadian Naval Centennial 2010

In 2010, Canada’s Navy will mark its 100th anniversary of service to our country. During this momentous year, our aim is to build and strengthen in Canadians an appreciation for their navy and to demonstrate the navy’s ongoing role in our national development. Our theme is to “bring the navy to Canadians” by honouring the past, showcasing the current and reinforcing the need for a navy in our future.

To mark this momentous occasion MARPAC is planning the following events:

Namesake City Presentations   “The Homecoming” Statue Dedication

Rogers Chocolates CNC Tin   St. Paul’s Naval and Garrison Church Centennial Window Dedication

Maritime Security Challenges Conference International Fleet Review
